I have a published Google Slides (test) presentation that can be seen here:
https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1GsTfjnz6euZghP2j7ArnVkbzOKfngMJdEhGROGoCD5c/pub?start=true&a...

When added as a Custom URL the preview only shows a white page. I checked the HTML of the preview and there is no reference to that Google Slides URL anywhere in it.
When I replace the Custom URL with a any page called with http, that page is shown in the preview.

An issue with displaying https?

Phillippe,

Please try displaying this page using our Web Page Widget.

I tried to. But clicking on Configuration doesn't do anything. Even ESC to close the window doesn't work. (and yes, I deactivated AdBlocker)

Phillipe,

This combined with your other thread lead me to believe you have an issue with your browser. Configuration of the Web Page Widget is working fine for me.

Just used Chrome Canary w/o any extensions. There I could click the link "Configure", add Web Page, add the link to the published Google Slide but still got an empty preview page.

Phillipe,

Is your presentation public?

Phillipe,

It looks like this is caused by a Same Origin error. If you add that google slide to a presentation and open up developer tools, you will see the exact error. You will need to ask google presentation support why you are receiving this error.

"Thanks for waiting, I was investigating deeper, and that is a security feature, that prevents that anyone can embed your Slide out of the same origin, which means out of your domain.
This behavior is expected since the third party tool is consider out of your domain."
