Can't get a populated Google spreadsheet to run in the Gadget plug-in. URL is as follows - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

I need Column A to scroll from top to bottom independently.

Do you have the spreadsheet Published to the Web - ie under File / Publish to Web?

Yes it is published. Can you view it?

Yes, I asked that because when I tried to add it to my gadget I got a message about it not being published. I took a copy of it and published my copy and in preview it appeared to be working fine, until it stopped scrolling (what Robb refers to as locking up below).

I created a copy of your spreadsheet, and I am trying to preview it, but it keeps locking up every time. Not sure why. I'm investigating right now and I will let you know.

Thanks!

It looks like this may be due to some of the issues we are discovering with new Google Spreadsheets.

I think what we are seeing here is this issue, coupled with the fact that there are several columns in the Spreadsheet that are empty, and roughly 1000 rows which are empty.

After deleting the empty rows and columns, it looks like the original issue causes the preview to lock up, likely because there is so much data when it is trying to start from scratch again.

The temporary solution for this issue would be to do copy and paste all of the data from this new Google Spreadsheet into an older one which does not have this issue.

Unfortunately this means you will lose all your formatting, but at least the spreadsheet should work as expected.

I copied all your data into an older Spreadsheet that you can access here, if you want to make a copy of this Spreadsheet (which will be an older version of Google Spreadsheets), and update it with your formatting, it should work as expected.

Thanks!

I can confirm that the old Google Spreadsheets is scrolling by Page properly in Rise, wherein the new 'Google Sheets' is no longer scrolling by page properly.

Going to use the old 'Spreadsheets' for now.
Thanks.

This doesn't work if you are running on Google Apps.
