Problem with Rise Vision's DNS

Suddenly Rise Vision cannot reach any of our internal web pages that we have embedded in our presentations. It appears to be a DNS problem on Rise Vision's end. Everyone else is able to reach our sites normally and I have done multiple DNS lookups online and all point to the correct IP address. Can someone from Rise Vision please check your records for web.keystoneschool.org?

Thanks for sending this question into our support team as well, I wanted to update you in this conversation as well to ensure you were answered everywhere :)


The reason you are not seeing the webpage you want is because the page is not allowed to be shown inside an iFrame.

This is due to a restriction put on the page that explicitly states the page can only be displayed in a frame on the same origin as the page itself. Since the Rise Vision Viewer is not the same origin as your page it is affected by this restriction and will not show.

I don't think this is the issue. Yes, I am aware of the iFrame limitations. What we are seeing however is not that the site doesn't allow iFrame. This is happening on all of our internal sites, which we manage here and iFrame is allowed.

Rise Vision is not giving us that error but that the sites are completely unreachable. These were previously working fine but now any page in our internal keystoneschool.org domain (not www which is hosted elsewhere) is showing as unreachable in Rise Vision only. (See http://web.keystoneschool.org/networkbandwidth.html or http://web.keystoneschool.org/faculty/ ) This is why it appears to be a DNS issue since everyone else is able to reach the sites normally.

I'm not sure if this is helpful.. but I can both reach your sites and see them in Rise Vision preview.. using the Web Page Widget just fine also.

Thanks Wendy! I needed to update this. It suddenly started working this morning again. It seems it was a temporary issue that rectified itself.
