I am trying to play a single mp4 video. It previews on my computer, but error message on sign is "There was a problem playing that video. It could be that we don't support that format or it is not encoded correctly." I am using the Video widget and sourcing the file from RiseVision storage.

Just curious, how did you get Rise Vision App installed on Samsung TV? Aren't you using some attached media playing device with Rise Vision App installed on it?

you're so polite... "Just curious"... There's a ThinkCentre PC playing the media.

I really am... most of the time :) English is my like 3rd language, so do not take my words negatively as I did not really mean to be mean to you or anything. Sometimes I may not express myself accurately... one I almost got my ... kicked for 'you people' ... lesson learned :)
Back to the video though. The media player, ThinkCentre PC in you case, is one of the most important clues when it comes to figuring out what is casing problems with videos.

Try updating Chrome browser and video codecs, first. Video seems to be OK as it is playing on your other PC.

Donna,

Any chance you could share a link to your Presentation preview? I'd like to take a look to see if we can determine the issue.

Thanks!

We've gone back to square one. Instead of using the Video Widget, in creating the presentation I selected add video item instead of Content - Video Widget.... and it is working!  Thanks for your patience.

Donna, could you please provide me with a preview link to your presentation so we can look into what is causing this problem? Alternatively you can shoot me an email at support@risevision.com with a link to the presentation you are having this problem with.

Thanks!
