Hello , I encounter a font problem on rise with chrome os player Version: 15.11.20.7944I use a simple text widget with Helvetica font. I also have a HTML widget that displays a web page using the same font. In both cases the Helvetica font is not displayed and replaced by a default font.On preview in my PC everything is correct.Do you have an idea of the problem?Thank you in advance.

Yannick,

The first thing I can think of is that the font Helvetica is not interpreted correctly on the Display. Would it be possible to use a Helvetica font as a custom font stored at a location you can access via the HTML Widget?

For example, store a font from here in Storage, and refer to that font in the HTML Item?

Such thing as 'web safe fonts' has pretty much disappeared. The safest thing would be to, as Robb said, to store fonts you need some place in the 'cloud' yourself or use Google Fonts and keep your fingers crossed Google does not decide to change the ways they do things... again.

Thank you. I will try to use this method and upload my fonts directly into storage.
I did some tests and it works well !
Hi Yannick, would you mind sharing your HTML with the reference to the custom font you have stored? I am trying this also using @font-face, and not having any luck.

Hi Nicholas,

Here's my css code with the @font-face tag from my style.css file . Font in OTF format is stored in the storage rise vision in a folder.

@font-face {
    font-family: 'myfont';
    src: url('https://storage.googleapis.com/riseme...');
    font-weight: normal;
    font-style: normal;
}

body {
  padding: 45px 0;
  font-family: myfont;
  font-size: 13px;
}
Thank you so much Yannick, much appreciated!
