Presentation Showing up Blank\White

One of my presentation PCs died and I had to replace it.  I've installed the new player and it talks with Rise Vision and responds to commands to reboot or reload the player but the presentation is showing up blank, just a white screen.

The presentation is included on a schedule play plays on two screens.  The original of the two (Windows PC) is still displaying without issue, it's the new PC (an Ubuntu Player) that is not displaying an image.  The Ubuntu player was setup back in November and has been held in reserve until today, but it is showing a current version of the player, RisePlayer 2016.02.11.21.00, installed.

My issue seems similar to the one reported here (https://community.risevision.com/rise_vision_inc/topics/white-screen-on-presentation) but I need the screen working by 5pm for an event, and cannot wait for it to fix itself.

I created a new schedule for testing and added the new display to it.  The display immediately started to display the new scheduled material.  When added back to the proper schedule it, again, did not display the presentation.

When I remove the display from the schedule it immediately makes note of it.  It just refuses to play back the appropriately scheduled content.

Alright, the problem was this:

I had the displays assigned on the schedule, but I also had to displays assigned via the presentation.  The old broken display was still assigned on the presentation.

I'm going to amend my question to this:

Why can I, and what is the difference between assigning a display on a Schedule versus a Presentation?

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the update! If you can, I would recommend assigning the Display via the Schedules app rather than the Presentation itself since it's easier to keep track of your Displays to Presentation. If you need fine grain control over specific elements within the Presentation (such as a Placeholder) you can assign a Display within a Presentation.

Thanks
Hannah
