After starting a Presentation on a display, images seem to stick or go out of order.. My presentation has 10 images and 8 videos. See the attachment.  After an hour or so, the photo before the last 3 videos (PD6000) "sticks" and that is then all you see until the next video in the cue. Any Ideas?

Patrick,

Can you try displaying your images using the Image Widget instead of the image item?

Hi. I tried using the image widget but it still sticks.

Hi Patrick, I am not completely sure what you mean by "sticking", ie you said "the photo before the last 3 videos (PD6000) "sticks" and that is then all you see until the next video in the cue. "  Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but you described what I thought it should do, it should play the image and show it until the next video in the queue begins to play.

If you look at the attached image, there is 10 images. After about ten minutes, the pd6000 image shows rather than the other 9 images. It hangs on that one. The videos work fine.

Oh I see, thanks.  Just  few questions then, and things to look at.  How long are the images scheduled to show for (each)?  Are they large (resolution and file sizes)?  What about the videos, are they WebM and are they very large videos?  What happens if you remove the Transition?  Lastly, what OS are you using and are you using Chrome App Player?

All of the Images are 10 seconds. The resolutions range from 915X445 to 1000x455 to 5040X2100. Sizes average 358.7KB.  Largest is 831KB.  Tried Turning off transitions, still waiting on a result.  It is the chrome player running on Windows 7 Professional.  The videos work fine and I am using the Video Item.  They map to Youtube.

Patrick,

Please let me know the result of turning off the transitions. Thanks for the update!

After Letting this presentation run for a few days, it appears as though the disabled transitions solved the problem!

Patrick,

Can I ask you which transition you were using?
