Hi,

We have our own hosted server setup with rackspace. I was trying to link/play video files copied on to the server. I get problems of blank screen. I tried both http and ftp still same problem.
Also tried reducing to file size to less than 5 mb and tried with webm video format but i get same issue. The video plays in preview but not in presentation.

Finally i had to upload it to youtube and stream it using html widget.

Request if you can help me out with same.

regards
Prakash

Prakash,

Can you check the google developers console viewer and let me know if you see any errors when you refresh the presentation on your media player?

Prakash,

I am able to load the video into Rise Vision storage and play in a presentation from there with no issues. This is an issue with your hosting or access URL.

Blake,

I am able to download the video using the same ftp link, which is better to use http or ftp protocol.

Prakash,

You may want to try http since ftp is not working.
