Reporting two managed Chromeboxes (*44) turning off @ 9 AM and 10 AM. U usually that was happening after some RV update, but I switched all the updates off a while ago. Wondering what could be the reason this time? Anyone else experienced the same today?

Hi Darius,

We have no reports of this issue on our end today. Perhaps it is an issue with your screensaver/lock settings, power management, or a running process/extension that may have interfered.

Otherwise, our users will be happy to assist you here.

nah... non of that. As I mentioned, they are in kiosk mode managed devices and set to RV specs... well almost... I turned off RV updates and they do not have 'reboot' scheduled. I wonder what could knock out 2 similar devices in two different locations at pretty much the same time (1 hour apart).

Darius,

Which version of the Rise Player Chrome Application are you running on these devices? Were there only two down? Were they in the same location?

Hi Blake,
I am running older RV application on managed and locked in *44 Chrome version. Both players are in the same city, but not the same location.
I, personally, think it has to be something local such as power outage or maintenance works at office buildings (it was Friday, the day after Thanksgiving) because not only players, but displays also were turned off.
That was the last straw... we are switching to Windows devices. To the hell with Chromeboxes.

Darius,

Thanks for the input, it does sound like a power outage or that they were manually shut down.
