Changed network configuration on a display that has worked for months. It suddenly started displaying this message on startup.

Any thoughts? Software Update?

Dave,

Was this previously playing a much older version of the Rise Vision Player, and you updated it to the latest version?

If that is the case you'll have to upgrade the OS of the device to be on a supported one. Is this a Linux Player? Windows Player?

You can read more about the supported OS' here: https://risevision.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001817143-What-OS-is-Rise-Player-supported-on-

I hope that helps!

Right on man. I know I am not on a supported OS.

But this message has never appeared before and we force a OS reboot every morning. What was most interesting is that whatever is going on here forced me to skip through "no internet" and a bunch of proxy error warnings and re-enter the display ID.

After that, all was cool. But ya gotta admit that after 6 months of zero error operation, I change the IP address and boom! That's a bit on the unusual side.

Thanks for the help.

That's really weird. I don't have a good answer for that one. I'm glad to hear that everything is working as expected now!
