I have noticed on the windows players when we have power outages that the player will continue to stay offline even after it starts back up. Here is the scenario i think will cause this. Power goes out and comes back say after 30 minutes. The device reboots and restarts the player. Internet is not there so it plays from cache. Now with us we have large switches so it takes a while for them to boot. Once interent is up the device is suppose to reconnect, but in my test it doesnt. It stays offline on the device section of the platform. The wierd part is it can play from cache for days. I have had this happen several times and have tested this issue a few times. Its works randomly but i can confirm this happens. Let me know if you see this issue as well. Thanks

We do have one player on WiFi and it does that occasionally (we try to get wired connections all the time). This is why I posted this not too long ago: https://community.risevision.com/rise_vision_inc/topics/auto-restart-task

It also has a solution for this problem posted there.
