How do I go about aligning placeholders to get more precise alignments of design components? Is it possible to center horizontally and/or vertically?

Thanks!

Make a precise plan using drawing software. Later use those measurements to position placeholders. This is how I do it. The software I use is CoreDraw, but it can be Adobe Illustrator... I bet even PowerPoint would do the job just fine.

I tend to use maths. You know how wide the presentation is, you know how wide the placeholder is. Subtract the width of the placeholder from the presentation width, divide by two = centred.
