Outage Notice: Google Calendar

We would like to let everyone know that if you are using the Google Calendar Widget in your presentation, you may currently be seeing the error message "Calendar cannot be shown because it is not public. Check your calendar settings."

There is currently a problem with Google Calendars systemwide. You can check Google applications status here.

This issue is with Google, and we anticipate that once it is resolved, calendars will begin appearing on Rise Vision presentations with no additional interaction or configuration needed.

My calendars are only showing the times.  No details.  I've rebooted the players, check the widget settings, and recreated the widget.  No change.

Any other ideas?

Hey Dan,

It looks like the calendar you're sharing may not be enabled to show the details. I bet within the Google Calendar's settings, you have this box checked, 

Could you double check that it is unselected?
