Hi,
We use Bomgar for remote support to Windows 7 and Ubuntu nucs for RISE signage. Bomgar says they don't support the special action of Alt+F4. Anyone have other options for killing the player once we get remoted into the nuc? Thanks-

Tim,

Darius is right. In Bomgar, you can hit Ctrl + Alt +Delete, and kill the Chrome and Java process. This kills the Player, Cache and running Chrome instances.

I hope that helps!

Thanks guys- Appears that will work for Windows 7. Still searching for a Ubuntu solution.

Tim,

For Ubuntu, what I often do is hit Ctrl +Alt+T, which brings up a terminal window, and in that window I kill java and Chrome (sudo killall chrome, sudo killall java), and then I am at the Linux desktop. Will that work with Bomgar?

I used to be able to existing the presentation both Ubuntu 14.04 and Windows 7 using CTRL+W. Has this option changed with the new Rise Vision player?
Thanks,

I use that option to exit for Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

For Windows 10, it will be Ctrl + Alt + Delete
Then Task Manager > new task > run explorer.exe

Joe, another option would be to reboot the machine and cancel the Player during the countdown when it is starting up.

Thanks!

Thank you both, I think where I was getting confused is the CTRL+W only worked with the older Rise CAP.
