I have a very simple schedule that is just a single image that stays static on the screen. I would like to schedule a second image to show on the screen during an event this weekend. It'll switch to the second screen from 9-midnight during the event, and then go back to the default screen for the next day.

How do I set this up?

Right now I have a single Schedule set to 'always'. In that schedule i have two playlist items.
1 - Default Screen - Timeline - Always
2 - Event Screen - Timeline - 9:00 pm - 12:00 am

will this work?

Hi there Shane,

That is the first part of what you need to do.  But if you leave it like this, then starting at 9:00pm, the two presentations will switch back and forth every 10 seconds.  If that's what you want, then great!  But if you want Event Screen to take over the whole time, then you would need to set the duration of that presentation to 10,800 seconds.   (three hours if I did my math right)   Then, at 9:00pm, that presentation will come on, play for 10,800 seconds and then go off.

Thanks Ray, I'll give that a shot this morning and see how it goes.

Shane, make two placeholders. The bottom one (with the smallest Z order) make visible all the time (by default it is). For the second placeholder in properties select the date&time when you need it to be visible. It also must have the higher Z order for it to show on top, above any other placeholders in your presentation (just to be sure I usually set 100). I address tasks like that this way. Works well, just pay attention to AM/PM setting and make sure your player's time/zone is set correctly.
