Hello, thanks in advance for your help and consideration.

I am working on my first setup for a store of ours and I could use some help on how best to configure our presentation.

The main presentation will feature a few YouTube playlists configured through the YouTube widget. These playlists will change over time, so they don't have a set duration. I have them set to PUD.

I would like to interrupt the main presentation every 25 minutes to display static images featuring monthly specials, and then transition back to the playlists.

Is there a proper way to go about this setup?

Thanks,

Jackson

Jackson,

There sure is!

The best way to do this would be to have 2 Presentations in your Schedule; 1 is your YouTube Playlist that plays for 1500 seconds (25 minutes), and another that plays for however long you want those static images to play for.

This way it plays YouTube for 25 minutes, then switches to the images for however long you set them for, and it keeps going in that loop.

Let me know if that will work for you!

Thanks for the reply Robb!

If I understand correctly, this would restart the YouTube playlist when the second presentation is over? It's not the end of the world if so, but it would be nice if the playlist could pick up where it left off.

All the best,
Jackson

Jackson,

Not really, what it would do is play the YouTube Presentation for 25 minutes, and at the end of the 25 minutes, it would go to the other Presentation.

If you would prefer it play your YouTube Presentation completely, and THEN go to the next one, you can do that as well. Simply mark the YouTube Presentation in your Schedule as "Play Until Done" instead of having a duration. This way, it will play all of those videos, and once they are completed, it will go to the other Presentation.

In your YouTube Presentation, make sure you assign a Placeholder as the Play Until Done Placeholder, and this should be the Placeholder that has all your YouTube videos in it:

I hope that helps!
