New to Rise - Having trouble viewing images stored on Google.

I am brand new to Rise Vision and am definitely not the technical expert. I am a teacher learning the system for deployment in a public school setting working with one of our IT guys. We are using Google Drive for image storage, as of right now, and am having trouble getting images to appear in the display.

I have followed several conversations and feel that I am posting a correct URL into the Image Widget. The image appears in the placeholder while working in "Design" mode in the editor and it appears when I hit the "Save & Preview" button. However, our IT department says the images are not appearing in the display.

Where should we begin to troubleshoot our problems?

Hi Andrew,
I would recommend either going with another media server/host to host your images or Rise Storage. We also have the Photofeed Widget that integrates with Google Photos - https://store.risevision.com/product/...

Thanks!

Thanks Hanna,
I was able to troubleshoot and figured out it has something to do with out network in our district. The photos would not upload to the display (through the Chromebox) while at school. However, when I took it home and connected to my hjome network, which is probably a little less secure, it worked fine and the images showed without any problems. I will have our IT guys trouble shoot and see if there is anything they can do on their end.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the update - yes, that can happen with the network. It's a good idea to check with another network to see if the issue is recreated.
