New Log In Screen / New Sign In Screen

Hello,

We have recently made an update to Rise Vision login page.  The changes have caused some confusion with our existing customers and we apologize for that!  I would like to help clear this up for you.

See the screenshot below as a reference.  If you are an existing Rise Vision user and you normally login in with an email associated with a Google account, please select the “Sign up with Google” Button to log in.  

Some existing users are entering their Google email and password into those fields on the login screen and reporting that they are getting an invalid password error.  If you are using Google email, please select the Sign up with Google button, or if you are an existing user, client the Sign In link at the bottom of the screen.

If you are using Google email to sign in and have forgotten your password, please use the normal procedure with Google to recover your password.

still not working - reset won't flow through, Sign in won't work either.

The fields that ask for the email and password are not for use if you use Google to sign in.  Those fields are for those people that choose to sign up for Rise Vision with a non Google email and password, so those fields won't work if you enter your Google information there.   I'm glad you can log into Rise Vision.  You say when you try to access storage it asks yo to log in and your Google Sign in won't work - can you tell me what happens to make you say it doesn't work?

Can you please go to apps.risevision.com to sign in before going to storage and let me know if that works for you?  Also please keep in mind to click on the Sign Up with Google button and don't use the email and password fields - those are for non Google email sign in.

It allowed me to sign in AND gave me a different view!  I think I was in classic.  I could access my storage and update my monitor.  THANKS!

'Sign In with Google' works for me, but entering email and password does not. But perhaps it was not supposed to... I do not know, I am confused a bit by this. Is this email+password sign-in for non-Google emails, right?

The new fields - for email and password - are there because we no longer require that you use a Google email to sign in to Rise Vision!  So if you are an existing person using a Google email, click on the Google button.  The fields for email and password are for those people that are not using Google to sign in to Rise Vision.  Does that explain it?

I can see how that would be confusing for users.. glad to see you don't require a Google account anymore though - would've saved us a big headache about a year ago :) It's a step in the right direction I think!
