Looking for the link to the ChromeBox Set Up Guide? I found it in several conversations, but it appears to now be a dead link with an error message??
Can anyone point me in the direction to find it...

Just received another handful of the units for deployment and I want to have the step by step for reference when setting up for kiosk mode etc...

Has been several months since my last set up with this platform and honestly have forgot, and for the life of me cant find my print out.

Cheers,

Chad

Chad,

Certainly! That documentation is available here. I hope your setup goes well.

Will do, Ill get there early tomorrow. If it does not allow me to view it in a browser via the PC... What would you say the next step is? Is it a firewall setting etc?

Is there any information you can provide in regards to what I would need to have their IT network admin change? To be able to fully connect to rise servers etc, the primary problem appears to be only video, as twitter and weather is displaying?
All PC's have their own IP address etc.

Mylife,

Once you're in chrome browser, pull up the developer console before accessing the video you're trying to play. If it plays with no errors, pull up the preview of the presentation you're having issues with. If the video isn't playing, there should be an error in the console showing what content is blocked.

Thanks! See if I can pull that up tomorrow am. Are there any sure fire setting for a firewall in regards to accessing rise?

Mylife,

It all depends on where the content is hosted. Are you hosting using rise storage, or another host? The most foolproof way to do this is to see what URL is being blocked, and adding an exception to the firewall.
