I had files and folders in storage and they have just disappeared. The only folder showing up for me is the "trash" folder.

Hi Michael,

Can I ask what your company name is? I will look into your account and see what I can dig up.

Thanks!

Michael,

It looks like four folders were deleted relatively recently, the latest being this morning - http://www.screencast.com/t/DKfgFcVTd9

Are these the folders that you are looking for? If so, you can simply select their checkboxes and restore them to your storage.

No. Those are mostly files and folders that I deleted last week. I only removed a couple files today.

Michael,

This is an issue that we are currently investigating. I will update you as soon as we have a resolution.

The files are still available via previously created presentations, but I can't see them when I navigate to "Storage". For example, here is a file that a presentation is using, but the folder it resides in doesn't show up. http://commondatastorage.googleapis.c...

As you can see, it's not in "trash".

The files are obviously intact, one example file (currently in one of our presentations) is http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/risemedialibrary-ba66a85b-4b7f-48f0-86be-06bde9f8128e/Main/Videos/Security.webm   This was in our "Main/Videos" folder. and the file can be accessed still through this direct link.

Kaleb,

Is that file currently house in the /trash folder, or have you restored it to the correct directory?

It is in use by a presentation which is where I pulled the link from.  Currently I see nothing at all storage, no files nor folders and nothing in /trash.

Michael and Kaleb,

Were either of you actively using storage before 11:30am CST? If so, did you see your file structure as you normally would expect it to be?

Thanks.

I can now see the files and folders, but the links (used in presentations and from the storage interface) show a "File not found". I can download, but not link...

I can confirm that it is now working as expected.

Blake, can you confirm that you can actually use the links generated via the storage interface?

Michael,

I can confirm that if an item is selected, and then the link icon is clicked the link that is generated is working. We are currently researching why your account in particular is treating items in storage as hyperlinks with no destination. I'll get back to you when we have an answer for that.

Everything looks to be back to normal for me now. Thank you!
