I see that there have been issues with the cursor not hiding as intended. I like it like that but there are times I would like to temporarily enable the cursor to click on something.

Is there a setting for this?

William,

I've seen the mouse cursor show when it is on top of a video when it is supposed to be hidden, but usually if the "Hide Mouse Pointer" option in the Presentation settings is selected, it will hide it. Have you tried testing with the Hide Mouse Pointer Option unselected, and maybe a program like AutoHide running? This way, the cursor will show for X amount of seconds, and then autohide until moved again. These options are set in AutoHide itself. I'm not recommending or endorsing AutoHide, I have just heard of this being used before.

So I only have a presentation showing on a small portion of the display. Are you saying that that one placeholder is the only reason I cant see the cursor?

William,

No, you should be able to see the cursor when you move over the Presentation, as long as it is not set to be hidden in the Presentation Settings. Can you confirm that the Hide Mouse Pointer button is unchecked?

On our Chrome devices if you repeatedly click the right mouse button the cursor will flash while you're clicking. Not elegant but good enough if you just need to see the cursor to experiment with touch content without the touch overlay present.
