Need help, please. I'm in the process of setting up a new presentation. Have uploaded an mp4 to my rise storage account. Add it to the presentation, save & view. It works fine and I continue working on the presentation, saving & previewing as I go. Eventually the video stops displaying (I've tried it with 2 different mp4 files and it has happened each time). When I check the video and hit 'preview file', I get an access denied message. "Anonymous users does not have storage.objects.get access to object risemedialibrary" message.

AccessDenied Access denied. Hi Cheryl,

This file is being throttled due to excessive downloading. If you are previewing this presentation many times, it could lead to this file being throttled. Also, if you're leaving multiple tabs open playing this presentation, that could be causing it as well.

I would suggest closing any browser that is currently previewing a presentation that contains this video, deleting the video from Storage, and re-uploading the video, this should clear the excessive download throttling.

I'll try it - we have 7 monitors playing the same presentation. Will risestorage be able to handle that?

Cheryl,

Looking at the Displays in your Company, it looks like the majority of your Displays are running a very old version of our Player, so that would be contributing to the issue. I would strongly suggest updating your Displays to the latest version of our Player which you can download from https://help.risevision.com/user/create-a-display. This newer version of the Rise Vision Player has a built in cache mechanism, so it will cache the videos on your Displays, and not request to download them.

I hope that helps!
