Are there any instructions for an un-managed chromebook?

Israel,

No. We do not support the use of unmanaged ChromeOS devices.

We bought just two chromeboxes for testing out and they're unmanaged.
Thanks.

Israel,

Since we don't support unmanaged ChromeOS devices, I will be unable to provide you with instructions on how to set up the device in an unmanaged state. You will need to look up third party instructions for Single App Kiosk Mode.

Here is the Google manual for enabling Kiosk mode in un-managed environment : https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/3134673?hl=en-GB

You need to strictly follow the steps otherwise it will not work. The main tip is that YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LOGIN prior to have enabled the Kiosk mode in developer mode (use CTRL-ALT K) at boot time. If you logged in already, you have to do a pin reset of the Chromebox and try again.

As Blake, I don't recommend using the un-managed mode for production box because it is a mess. In un-managed mode, you can not control when Chrome OS is being updated. It is updated once a new version of Chrome OS is available and the risk is very high that RiseVision is broken (over the last 4 major upgrades, there have been 2 main problems with Rise client).

For instance; after Chrome 46, our Chromebox for video (hangout) are hung due to a change the way Chrome accesses Chrome web store and may fail across firewalls (this is what I think because so far, we have not found yet the root cause). All managed Chromeboxes staying in Chrome 44 work well while the others having updated to Chrome 46 are broken.

Thanks for the reply. We're not yet in a production environment, we're in the phase of testing different hardware.
I followed this instructions and is working good with the stand-alone chromebox:
