Media Players - The right choice?

I've settled on using Rise Vision for my CMS, but looking for the right hardware solution. Right now I'm leaning toward the Cenique C410 because they seem simple to setup (pre-configured), the best I can tell, and the price is right @ $325. 1GB RAM and 8GB Flash Memory seem adequate. Any others to consider I may be missing? I'm looking at a 20 unit deployment.

Also, a question regarding bandwidth and storage on the media player. Because I operate a K12 school, I can't have these displays eating up my bandwidth. The content we will have is mostly PowerPoint, images, and short MP4 video assembled in various ways, and probably not streaming HTML content. I will be paying for Premium/Rise Storage. Do the Media Players pull content from the Internet each time they loop, or is the content stored on the Media Player's storage and only hits the CMS for changes in content, downloading only when a change occurs?

Any help our guidance for a new guy is greatly appreciated!  Thanks, Justin
