Linux RV Player Screensaver control

Hi Rise,
I'm using Linux Ubuntu 14.04 and am running a custom startup script that disables the Display Power Management Signaling and turns off the screensaver. Recently I've been performing some testing on the latest Rise Vision 64-bit Linux player and have noticed that my screen has started turning black after some time. Watching the RV Player Installer bootup, I noticed a mention of screensaver. Has something been updated with this installer recently that overrides the Linux screensaver settings? I think my script might be clashing a bit with this, but hoping to learn more.
Thank you,
Joe Kirchner

Hi Joe,
How long have you been running the script and also with how long have you been running the new installer?
In our repo, we do have optimizations already within the script, please see https://github.com/Rise-Vision/rise-l...

We also mention disabling screensaver for the .sh at https://github.com/Rise-Vision/rise-l...

Hi Hannah,
I've formatted my test media player and tested this issue thoroughly and cannot get it to reproduce. Thank you for your help!
