Lot of digital signage companies tend to use the embeded SOC in the LG digital signage display range, and the webOS, are risevision thinking of this as an option ?

We like LG monitors and would welcome such an option. So far, most of the LG SOC integrations we've seen use per monitor Monthly Fee Content management systems. I'd expect that there should be a reasonable charge, one time or monthly, for the software to support a single manufacturer product like the LG, or any of the others.

Rise is a free basic platform, pay extra for the features you need or want. Perhaps a third party developer  could justify the development if they saw enough interest in buying a service from current Rise Users.

My personal opinion is that a good external player offers a wider range of hardware and network options and range of CPU power for a wide variety of uses as well as more convenient debugging , maintenance and future upgrade issues. Especially as digital signage moves beyond single monitors into arrays.

This isn't something we are considering at the moment, but as RPTDigital Signage points out, perhaps taking our Github repos for Player would be of interest to some development team who wanted to work on this.

You can see repos to all projects at the bottom of this page: https://help.risevision.com/user/create-a-display

It would be great if someone developed RiseVision for the LG WebOS platform !
