I know that this has been asked a number of different ways before but I'll looking for a best practice.  I'm looking for a way to layer text over-top of an image and save that as a slide that can be scheduled.  From what I'm reading, there are a few ways inluding:
  • layered placeholders (one with images and another with text with durations set to match in both) - I consider this not easily managed
  • bulletin widget - can't figure out a way to layer text on top of the image on that
  • presentation in presentation -- i.e. not sure if this would even work..

Keith,

At this time layered placeholders would be your best option. Embedded presentations will display a background color and won't retain transparency.
