Just updated player - now "please wait while your video is downloaded"

Windows 7pro, 64 bit. Just updated to the most recent player release this morning, and now I've got players giving me the white screen of death, with "please wait while your video is downloaded". I know the installer states its for Win10, but its always worked just fine on 7 in the past. Have I completely screwed up now by updating?

Edit - I rolled the player back to one I had saved (2016-07-22-12-00) and it works just fine now. Its definitely an issue with the 2017.08.23.21.20 Standard player.

I see there are a lot of Displays in your Company, can I ask you to email support@risevision.com and reference this conversation, and also include the Display ID of the Display that you had this issue with? I'd like to do some further investigating.
