Issues with Chromebox and NPAPI No Longer Supported by Chrome

Okay, I hope I explain this correctly. I'm having problems displaying Risevision Text and content through the Chrome Player App that is running through a Chromebox.  

Our tech dept. has explained it as an issue with Google no longer supporting NPAPI therefore not allowing the Chrome Web App to display our content.  

Is there a way to correct this or is there a workaround?  We have been unable to resolve this issue and have been down for the last two weeks.

Can you explain what content in particular you are having issues displaying?
