I would like to add a function to an external piece of software to restart the player.

I want to duplicate the function that is available on the Display preference page,  but do it via an external piece of software.

Basically,  I want to be able to restart a player without manually going into the Rise Vision interface by using an API call.

ANyone know if this is possible and if there is a code sample.

I found this API call.  http://help.risevision.com/#/developer/player-api/player/restart  but do not know how I would access the player via an IP address if it behind a firewall.    I would hope to be able to do it via the Display ID.

Hello - I am interested in a similar capability.  I also found the player API; but uncertain how I would implement that function. I have been successful in integrating the core api and receiving the company, presentation and display information.  Any further discussion on this topic?

I have the players loaded on a Android mini pc data stick.  I am able to restart the player from the rise vision interface. Thanks,
