Internal URL Presentation Trouble

I have an internal website that is able to display on an Amazon Fire Stick with Voice Activated Remote Control model. When I try to use the standard Amazon Fire Stick with standard remote control the presentation shows a black screen with my url in blue text in the top left hand side of the screen.

As far as I know the hardware in the two devices is identical. The preview works when I try itthrough the website. I have tried doing a schedule that is setup to use a url and on that is linkned to a presentation and both have the same result. Both of these schedules will work on the voice remote control model fire stick. I have tried two standard fire sticks with the same results.

I have other presentations that work perfectly between all of my devices and one of those presentations is a schedule that has a direct url link so I am confused why this internal one is having trouble. The other presentation is a picture so I don't think it is a good source of info.

I am mostly curious if anyone has seen this black screen with your URL in blue text on the upper left hand side of your screen as I think that will get me pointed in the right direction. If I think of any further info to add I will update.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi RJC Graphic Arts,
Do you have a screenshot of what you mean by 'this black screen with your URL in blue text'? Also please note that we have not tested Rise Vision on Amazon Fire Stick.

Thanks,
Hannah

I do not have a screenshot but I can get one if you think it will help. I'll make something in MSFT Paint that explains what I'm talking about. The blue text is hard to read on my screen as well.

I've had a lot of success with the "My Rise Player" app and Rise Vision + Amazon Fire Stick combo. The current issue is kind of baffling since it only works on certain Fire Sticks (the ones that do not come with a voice activated remote control.)
I'm trying my best to prove this to be an issue on our side with some sort of network permissions issue but I do not believe that's the issue. If nothing else, do you know of any solutions for Fire Sticks that are more suitable? My research lead me here and up until now I have enjoyed this product. We were going to look at buying some cloud storage for our image hosting needs soon.

Right now we have an update coming. The reason we havent updated is with the old gen 1 devices. Amazon decided to have a really slow release of the newest OS which started Feb 1st. We havent got it but some have. The issue is with video because it wont work with the old OS with the new update. With that being said we are having to delay the update till we believe everyone is close to getting the new OS. Once we feel that has happened we will update the app. Amazon left alot of apps including us in this position. With your issue this might be the app thats causing this. If you like, look at this conversation and at the end there is a beta app that you could try to see if that fixes the issue.

Im not promissing anything because we are waiting for the update OS on our old devices just to see if the app runs correctly. It does ok in the developer preview that we are running so hopefully nothing has changed since.

Hope this explains the issues you might be running into. Thanks

Thank you William. I'll take a look and keep an eye on the forum for future updates. I did read your post but wasn't sure if it would apply to my situation. Thanks for your involvement in the community!
