Hello Community,

We have identified an issue with Ubuntu 14.04 where, when a touchscreen is used as part of an interactive display, users can bypass the Rise Player software and gain interaction with the Operating System. At this time using Ubuntu 14.04 in an interactive environment is not encouraged, and should be used at your own risk. If an interactive presentation is desired, we recommend using Windows 7 configured in accordance with our Windows 7 Optimization Guide (https://help.risevision.com/user/advanced/display/Windows-Optimization).

Thank you!

Joe,

We still recommend using a Windows OS for Interactive Displays.

Thanks,
Blake
