Intel NUC Password

I'm trying to do some work on a pre-imaged Intel NUC from Rise Vision. It's running Ubuntu and has the user account "rise" on it. I need to be able to use the username and password, however I do not know the password. Without it, I can't just add a new user because that also requires a password.

Also, part of the problem that I am working on is that the Ubuntu dashboard won't show up and I also can't access the terminal through the keyboard shortcut or through right clicking the desktop. I can user Ctrl+Alt+F1, but I need a username and password for that. I'm trying to avoid having to reimage it, but it's starting to look like that's going to be what I have to do at this point.

Would it be possible to get the password to the Rise account on the device?

Thanks,

Daken

Hi Daken,

If you email support@risevision.com I'll be happy to get the password to you.
