Important message about Chrome App Player on Chrome OS devices using the Beta or Development channels.

We have been monitoring an issue with the Beta and Development channels on Chrome OS devices. This issue causes the Chrome App Player to crash and reboot instead of displaying content.

Our developers are in the process of implementing a solution to this issue. In the meantime, if you are running on the Beta or Development channels, you will need to update to the Stable channel in order to continue displaying the Chrome App Player.

Please keep in mind that the Beta and Development channels of Chrome are not supported. Only current, stable Chrome releases are supported by Rise Vision.

Per Google Chrome Support (April 25th):

When switching to the Beta channel (or Dev channel) there's no 'clean' way to rollback. You always need to recover the OS from USB or wait a number of weeks for the stable channel to "catchup" to the version you're on (i.e. if on v43.0.2357.32 beta, you'd have to wait until 43.0.2357.32+ reaches stable in order to AU cleanly).
