I've begun changing our existing presentations (which had embedded presentations, and old widgets, etc.) to conform to the new editor.  I'm having a problem with image files hosted on Google Drive however.  The images are publicly available with a Custom URL of the form http://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=<image_id>, and I check Remove Validation in the Image settings.  All images in the presentation (created with the new editor) preview just fine.  However, the Rise player is displaying "The file does not exist or cannot be accessed" in the image place holders.  Also, there is no issue displaying images referenced this way in a presentation that was created with the old editor.

Andrew,

I wonder if this is due to the Google Drive announcement that a user brought to our attention here. We don't recommend services like Google Drive for hosting images that go into your Presentations, as those services were not designed with Digital Signage file access in mind, and may act erratically for this service. You can read more about that here. It may be worthwhile to try Rise Storage to store your files. and see how that works for you

I hope that helps!
