We purchased the yearly Storage option earlier today. Since our purchase, images stored in the Rise Vision Storage will not display in our presentation or in the viewer.

Based on a similar post in the forum, I copied the image URL's into google and this is the message that appears in google...

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.<Error>
<Code>InvalidBucketName</Code>
<Message>The specified bucket is not valid.</Message>

Reichwald,

Can you please provide a presentation ID connected to the account in question so I can take a look?

Thanks!

Reichwald,

We have deployed a hotfix and this should be resolved. If you're continuing to see an issue with items loading from storage, please delete and re-add the items to your presentations.

Thanks

Thank you for fixing so quickly. I'll test it out to see how it goes.

I deleted the items not working, re-added one but am still having the same issue.

I'm not sure if it was your fix or mine that changed it. I just manually changed the image link to the same format of the working links and it now appears in the viewer.

Is it safe to post complete image links in this forum?

Reichwald,

Image links are fine. I did make the change to the correct format for that specific image in question.

I manually changed the file path for both new images.

When I select the "Storage" hyperlink and click on an image to add, it uses this url:

https://storage.googleapis.com/risemedialibrary-7ec61e06-7787-435f-b84a-ea762b610ddaNotices%2F915x686%20Nickelback%20Concert.jpg

I manually changed the file path to read the same as the older working images:
https://www.googleapis.com/download/storage/v1/b/risemedialibrary-7ec61e06-7787-435f-b84a-ea762b610dda/o/Notices%2F915x686%20Nickelback%20Concert.jpg?&alt=media

Any new image added needs the file path manually changed before it will appear in the viewer.

Reichwald,

Can you try logging out of your session and logging back in? I just changed the concert image in your presentation using the storage link and it seems to work fine for me.

Repeated tries yesterday would not work. However I tried a new file this morning and all seems to be working ok.

Thank you for your help :)

Rise Vision has been working perfectly for almost a year. Suddenly, after the purchase of Storage use, we've got multiple issues.
I've got broken links, too. I have a set och 2550x1440 images in my Storage root folder and another set of the same images, though downsampled to 1920x1080 in another folder. Yesterday, the 1080p images got broken links when I added a new display to the schedule. I then switched to the 2550x1440 pics and all was well until I added a few more displays, today. I had to link back to the 1080p-images to make it work again.
I've got just two occasions when the links broke after I added more displays. I'll try it again and see what happens.
I' also have another issue: I have a Screen saver running (Scott's) and that presentation keeps changing ID, which is a bit tiresome. I still have no clue on why and it's pretty hard to reproduce on demand. I'll try to log the occasions.

Hasse,

What kind of media players are you using? I'll take a look into your storage subscription to see if I find anything that stands out.
