Images don't upload to storage

When uploading an image to storage, the image doesn't upload.  It just "sits" there with an option to remove (see image below).  This is happening on two different machines both running Windows 8.1 and using the latest version of Chrome browser.

Rex,

I just tried uploading an image and didn't have any issues. Can you try clearing your browser cache, uploading again and let us know if that corrects the issue?

Thanks!

Mike,

What is the name of the Company you are having this issue with? Any chance Storage is suspended or the trial has expired?

If that is not the case, any chance you have a browser add on that may be causing the issue?

Thanks!

Steamworks and our account is OK. I figured it out as I was signed into my personal gmail account even though I had logged into Rise with my work account. Today I was able to cram a week's worth of work into one day!

Well it is happening again. I've logged out of Rise, Google and re-booted and still no luck.

Can you confirm the version of Chrome you're on?

I just tried on Windows 8.1 32 Bit, Chrome version 37.0.2062.120, and it worked like a charm.

Lance, can you also try clearing your cache to see if that fixes the issue?

Windows 8.1 x64, Chrome Version 37.0.2062.120 m (32 bit).   The other PC is also the same.   I just tried with IE Version 11.0.9600.17278 Update versions 11.0.12 (KB2977629).  Same issue with IE too.

Hmm..I tried renaming my file to exactly what you have in your screenshot, I also tried uploading an 11 mb MP3, and couldn't recreate the issue you are seeing.

Can you I ask you both to try uploading again, but before you do, open the Dev Console in Chrome  by pressing F12? That will open the Developer console at the bottom of the screen. Once you have that open, try uploading again, and let's see if there are any errors in there. If there are errors, please upload a screenshot, as that will help us diagnose the issue. Thanks!

Rex,

Can I ask you the name of your Company in the Rise Vision Platform? If you are not comfortable sharing it in here, feel free to email support@risevision.com with that information.

Thanks!

Rex,

After doing some digging, it looks like you are using an account that ends in @gmail.com, but that account does not exist in your Company.

You can add that Gmail user to your Company, or you can log in with one of the valid users in your Company and try the upload again.

Let us know how you make out!

Hi Robb,

I signed out and signed back in using a registered account, rex@steamworksonline.com, however the issue still exists.

Can I get you to clear your cache, and then go to https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions?pli=1, when you are logged in with that account, and make sure that the Rise Vision permission is listed in there?

Also, just to confirm, this was working previously with this account?

I'm not sure what was causing the issue, but it is now working for me.  Unfortunately, it is not working for my colleague,  mike@steamworksonline.com.  Nonetheless, for now I'll  have him email me the images and I'll upload them into Storage.

And yes, this was working previously for both of us.

I'm glad to hear it is working for you now. Any chance clearing the cache and verifying the permission will work for Mike?

We cleared the cache earlier but we will certainly do it again.  I'll also have him verify permissions.  He left for the weekend; I'll update you next week with the results.

Logged out, cleared cache using Ccleaner, and logged back in, worked for me.
Thanks Guys
