image object - must use widget now? no preview?

I've been using Rise Vision for a few years for a small business. It has worked very well. It looks like sometime in the past month, I can no longer add an image/object to my presentation without adding content, finding the image widget, clicking custom URL (not currently using RV storage), etc. It's gone from two clicks to ten clicks. I used to be able to add a few dozen images in a short time, now it looks like it will take much longer to go through all those steps.

I have two comments:

1 - please, please allow copy/paste (duplicate) of an existing widget. This would allow quick replication of similar objects with quick customize. Right now all I have is "Add" and "Delete". Please add "Duplicate". Pretty please?? !!

2 - when I have an image widget and it is the top in the stack, why is there no preview on the screen? If I accidentally messed up the URL I'd never know. When I add something, I'd like to see a visual confirmation that I did it correctly.

Thanks for listening.

Hi UDA Dev,

It sounds like you might be using the RVA Classic Editor. We have evolved this product to the new Editor, which is available in the Apps Page, at https://apps.risevision.com. Just click Presentations, and add a new Presentation. With the evolution of the Editor, we have deprecated many of the Classic Editor's functions, like "items" and "gadgets", in favor of the widget standard we now use. As a result, the image item in the RVA Classic Editor was recently updated to use the image widget to add content. Check out our Help Center article on how to add content to the Classic Editor.

Add Content using the Classic Editor

Regarding the use of the Classic Editor moving forward, I advise converting your Presentations over to the new widget standard using the new Presentations editor. As we add features, or improve existing ones, there may be times where functions in Classic Editor break, and as it is deprecated we may not repair their functionality. I've included a link to two articles below on how to update your Presentations:

Mike Thomas
