I want to limit a users permissions to a couple presentations or possibly by company, would this be a possible add-on in the future?

I have a few different users in a couple different departments that need to update the display content designated to them, but I don't want them to see or have access to all of the presentations.

We don't have anything in the works at the moment that would take care of that.

Having said that, you can set up sub-companies for each department and have Presentations in them. Those Presentations can then be embedded into other Presentations using the Presentation Item.

Has this been updated? Am I able to set user permissions to edit/update only one part of the designated presentation area?

No. We have added user roles, but they don't control specific parts of presentations.
