I want to run multiple instances of the rise vision App on a Chromebox. I am getting a port conflict, is it possible to change the port on one of the instances? The idea is to run two menu displays off of one Chrombox with two monitor outputs.

Hi Clark,

No, this is not possible. However, I think I have a workaround for you!

If both of your displays are the same resolution (I'll use 1920x1080 presentations as an example) you can easily create one presentation that spans both screens. You would create a presentation that is 3840x1080, put one of the 1920 presentations on the left half, and one on the right. The Rise Player should span across both displays, giving you a different presentation on each screen!

I saw this solution that you had posted before. i am not in love with this idea, because when I tried it I couldn't get it to span across it would still only stay on the left side even though it showed the window going all the way across.

Clark,

Could you give me a link to preview the presentation you're trying this with? I'd like to give it a look locally and see if I can come up with anything for you.

Yes I can do that. I have some stuff to do this morning but I will try to get it to you before the end of the day. Thanks so much for your response.

Clark,

It doesn't look like this can be done on a ChromeOS device. You may want to try out Chrome App Player on Windows or Ubuntu.
