I have a Rise player that is refusing to start, or rather appears to shutdown immediately on start.

This is on a win 7 machine which has worked in the past. I have cold booted the machine, reinstalled chrome and risevision player and replaced the risevision player folder in the appdata/local folder with a copy of a working folder. The shortcut is in the startup items folder and tries to start but shuts down immediately. 2 similar machines are working fine.

Hi Brian,

Can you try completely deleting the RVPlayer folder in the AppData/Local folder, then installing fresh from our installer located at https://help.risevision.com/user/create-a-display

I had tried that but this time it worked. I did kill ALL the copies of the folder( including some in other user folders) so maybe that helped. Anyway thanks for the help.
