How to play Rise player from laptop to TV display?

I have the Rise Player downloaded on my laptop via Google Chrome. I attached a HDMI cable from the laptop to the TV display. Then start the player on my laptop, which starts to play but nothing appears on the TV display. I know this maybe a very stupid question, but a search brought no solution. What am I doing wrong?

Seems to me it's working now. Problem now is, I have the resolution set to 1920 x 1080 which doesn't fit my laptop screen and it transfers that to the TV screen. Any ideas?

Christiaan,

You will need to set your primary display to be the TV display, and set the resolution for that display to it's correct resolution.

Thanks Blake. I figured out how to 'split' the screen from the laptop to the TV display. If I play it via my signage player, the resolution stays 1920 x 1080 - I set the display which will play through the laptop to 1366 x 768 and played perfectly on the TV display. Most of my customers will use their computers to play the content on their TV display.
