Hi,

I am creating a presentations using the Photo Feeds widget and would like a caption to show for the Google Photos images. I have checked the show captions box when configuring the widget but no captions seem to be showing. Does anyone have some experience with this feature and how to make it work. What does 'caption' in the widget refer to for a google photo? description? filename?

Hi Matt,

Thank you for letting us know about the issue you have been experiencing. Our users will be happy to assist you here.

Additionally, you may want to consider embedding your Google Photos to show your captions, See: https://support.google.com/picasa/answer/66969?hl=en under 'Embed Photos on a website'. You would paste the code in between the <body> tags within our HTML widget configuration.

Thanks!

Matt,

We are glad to hear that you are using the Photo Feed Widget and if there are any improvements that we can make to better meet your signage needs please let us know.

As for the captions for Google Photos, this feature does refer to the Photo Description. You can set this by clicking on the 'Info' icon when viewing your images in Google Photos. From here a sidebar will open that includes a field for a description.

If you are still having issues getting this to work please let us know, either here, or by emailing us directly at rvsupport@compaid.com
