I just got an Unbuntu media player from the store for my current install. I was able to add it without any problem. It tells me that the version of the player that is is running is 2016.12.21.19.44. I have two questions related to this. 1. does the player auto update to the most current version and if so when does it do that? 2. How can I find out what the most current version avialible to download is? Before I install them I want them to have to the most current version.

Thanks

Hi there!

That is not the latest version of the Player, and it will update automatically.

If you would prefer to update it manually to the latest available version, you can do so by downloading the installer for your Display from here, and running that installer on the media player. This will update it to the latest version.

I hope that helps!

It's a little lengthy process, but if you really want to know...download the Linux Shell file, you can see the latest version by reading the shell in a text file. I'm pasting the existing download file below.

I believe version is
script="./2017.02.15.15.17

Not sure if this is the same for the Windows Exe, but either way you can still download the Linux Shell.

Rise, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks,
Joe Kirchner
