I have four displays connected to our network with net zero devices. They are displaying "not assigned to host PC". want to integrate them with userful. When I add a display in RV, when I try to down load the player, I get an option to get the RV chrome app player. How do I get it to my display? Should RV auto detect my displays?

Hi Trina,

In order to display a presentation on your media player, you will need to download and install the Rise Player Chrome extension. You can find more information on installing Rise Player here.

I am using net zero devices. I don't believe they are media players. We will display content via userful. They all worked but we put userful on a different machine and the display numbers where out of order so I deleted the displays thinking I could re-add them. When i'm in the display section of rise vision, i click "add display" how does rise find the display? I found this on a help site:  Since Userful Network Video Wall provides preinstalled Rise Vision Player, you don't need to install the Rise Vision Player

Trina,

You will need to contact Userful about your question. We don't have the ability to support their product.

In case anyone else has a question about the integration, all you have to do is create your video wall in Userful. It will ask for the RV claim number (found in settings), then the video wall shows up as one display in RV.

I'm thinking about using Userful NVW (Network Video Wall), but I have no or little experience with Video walls, and I stumbled over Userful and really like their idea and product. anyways, do you have much experience with it? and/or cost effective as they claim?

And what kind of net zero devices do you use? for some reasons i have problem finding any Zero clients that aren't too expensive

Hi Adrian, we are using thin network mini point Ethernet. I'm not sure on the cost. Userful is an operating system based on Linux, so you  need a dedicated machine for it. You can download the trial version for free just to try it. It's the full version however there is a nag screen remind you to buy it every ... I think 15 minutes or so. Also, Userful customer support is exceptional. good luck. trina.mans@north40.com
