Hi. Adding or editing the google spreadsheet widget is causing the page to freeze and chrome to offer "kill or wait" option on the page. Firefox allows it to be added to the presentation and I can edit settings (although some options like font choice don't work).
Fields on the widget edit screen are named "widget-google-spreadsheet.spreadsheet.sheet" for example - as though it is unable to read/complete the processing on the screen.
I have cleared Chrome's cache etc but no improvement.
Any suggestions - is there a backend issue or is it a browser problem?

Version 59.0.3071.109 (Developer Build) Built on Ubuntu , running on Ubuntu 16.04 (32-bit)

Thanks
Steven

Hi Steven,

I would advise trying out the stable build of Google Chrome. The development channel tends to have some hiccups from time to time and changes so often that it's not something that we actively test on.

I just tested out adding and modifying a spreadsheet on the Stable Chrome channel (OS X), and I was able to add, edit, and Preview.
