google sheet to display only one line at a time

the idea I want to get to work is to use a google spreadsheet as a news ticker.
I would like to add a placeholder to a presentation that is the same height as a row in a spreadsheet and then have it scroll up one row at a time.

I have tried to do this but every time the spreadsheet scrolls up when set to scroll per page it is always miss aligned.

I have figured out that the text size in the configuration of the google sheet is in pt so I have converted this to px and set the placeholder height to the same as the text.
The text is 18pt so placeholder is set to 24px, but it still gets misaligned when it scrolls up.

has anyone done what I am trying to achieve of having any input?

Hi FIAS,
I admit that I haven't come across this before. There were some discussions previously about automatic recalculate on Google Spreadsheets here and working with IFTTT here

those posts don't really relate to what we would like to do.. it is purely the misalignment of the cells when the google sheet scrolls up that is the issue.

You could probably use css in the formatting (where you enter the widget address) to adjust line height/spacing/offset/etc to tweak it.
