Google Calendar no longer displaying

Our Google calendar is no longer displaying it's events. Not sure what's up, but I haven't adjusted this widget in two years. When I went to try and add a new one I couldn't even find widget or gadget as an option to add to my placeholder. Any clarity on this issue would be much appreciated.

Can I ask what player and operating system you're using? A link to the preview of the presentation would also be helpful.

The Daily Info section shows lunch and birthdays. The birthdays were pulled from a google calendar. All of the players are windows pc's outputting to tv's.

I actually can't even figure out how to add a gadget now, it used to say gadget in the list of things you could add to your placeholder... has this changed?

Yes it has. Gadgets are being transitioned to our new widget format. To add a new widget, you'll click add -> content in your placeholder, then use the search bar in your store to browse for the widget. In this case you'd search for calendar. You can see this full process in the video linked here.

Is it only the birthdays calendar not appearing on your presentation? You may try updating all of your calendars to the new widget to solve this problem. I do notice that you are using custom layouts with the gadgets, which is not initially supported in this release of the widget. I would make a copy of the existing presentation before making changes to it so you can go back if needed.

Thank you Blake, I've updated to the new widget, and while there's some formatting that I'd like to change, for the time being it's more important that it actually works. Thanks for your help.

Nevermind, I found an announcement thread about Google Calendar gadget, following the directions found in that now. I'll let you know if it works.

Announcements should really be emailed out, because for those of us who have no issues with RiseVision, we don't get on the community forums often.
