Google Calendar - Hide some items

Is there a way to hide some items when using the Google Calendar widget? For example, I have a few items on a calendar that do not need to be displayed by the calendar widget. I tried setting the visibility of the calendar item to "Private" which got me part of the way there: it hides the name and location, but the time still shows up in the widget.

See here -- the 12pm-8pm event is the one I want to hide. Thanks!

HI there Aaron,

I'm not aware of a way to accomplish that, however you may want to investigate using a custom layout, which you can read more about in the Github Repo for the Calendar Widget. I hope that helps!

A workaround, I created a new Gmail account (eg tothescreens@gmail.com) which I use to publish to my calendar widget. Then I can from any of my other calendar applications select what will be published by inviting tothescreens@gmail.com.
