gmail account issues

I started my account without GMAIL. Now that I have signed up for GMAIL under the same account my user name has changed to the GMAIL account. I tried the incognito mode and the multiple user. Any other suggestions on how to get my account corrected?

i can no longer use the original account because google has changed my acount name from william.oren@ndscs.edu (the original google user name and account for risevision) to will.oren.ndscs@gmail.com. So now when i sign into google my account name is not correct for risevision. Apparently if you sign up for the google account without signing up for GMAIL orignailly the account name with be your email. If you sign up for Gmail after the original signup, your account name changes to the gmail.

Technicially it is the same account, but once I signed up for gmail under that account even if I log-in using william.oren@ndscs.edu it still shows will.oren.ndscs@gmail.com after log-in

I have done the same was logging in as derek@the-glen.co.uk now have gmail - 2tglen@gmail.com & cant access my display.

Sorry to jump on this thread, I'm having the same issue. My account was a gmail, then our university went to google apps for education and rise vision sees the account as a different one. I moved my services to a personal gmail but risevision didn't follow.

Nope, The original email was name@mail.x.edu, which was the account used for risevision. it's now name@x.edu. The personal gmail that I transfer the @mail services to is seen as a new account.

  • The original Rise Vision account email
  • The new email address
  • Name of the Rise Vision company
  • Company ID (If you have it)
